ひと口にオーガニック野菜といっても、育てたもの全てが商品になるわけではありません。大きさが不揃いであったり、傷がついていたり・・・実は、ほんの少しの違いで、家庭に届かない野菜もたくさんあるのが現実です。
3人の男の子を育てる西村千恵さん（ファームキャニング代表）は、そんな“もったいない野菜”を使ったオリジナルレシピを開発。ソースやディップなどに調理して、美味しく再生しています。毎日の生活に欠かせない“食”を通して、次の世代へ紡ぐ取り組みを実践する西村さん。その思い描く未来とは・・・？（2020年10月10日放送 『しあわせのたね。』より）

Even when it comes to organic vegetables, not all the vegetables grown become commercial products.
Some of the field-grown vegetables often have irregular shapes or are damaged.
In reality, there are many vegetables which won’t make it to your dinner table because of those small differences.
Chie Nishimura, a mother raising three boys, has developed original recipes using such "discarded vegetables".
She turns them into sauces or dips, becoming delicious in another way

Anyone can start something, anyone can smile.
