What if one day, your father reveals that he "Wants to live the rest of his life as a woman"? This is a story of a family who tries to understand and support their father's decision, despite the confusion and clash of opinions.

Ms. Chihiro Imanishi,(age 56) who lives in Kyoto City, is a transgender who was born as a man, got married and had children, before transforming into a woman.She now works at an ironworks company which has been passed on for generations, in Kyoto Prefecture.

When Chihiro came out for the first time, her son was 7, and her daughter was 3 years old.Despite being confused and bewildered while watching their father gradually become "feminine", the family bond is stronger than ever.

How should the family embrace the fact that their father became a woman?
What should one do to live their own life, the way they choose to? Marriage, coming of age----For over a year, we followed the family events and watched
the children grow, amid their father's transformation. （Aired in 2022)
